How do I separate business and personal finances in cashegg?

Create a business space and assign your business accounts to it. Business balances, spending and budgets then live apart from your personal money, and you switch between the two in a tap.

Do I need a separate bank account for my business?

Each account lives in one space at a time, so the separation is cleanest when business money runs through its own account. You can move an account between spaces whenever you need to.

Can I share a space with my partner?

Yes. Invite them to a joint space and you both see its accounts and spending. They’ll need their own cashegg account, and your personal spaces stay private.

What types of spaces can I create?

Personal, joint, business, kids and other — each with its own name, colour and reporting currency, so a space can even run in a different currency than the rest of your money.

Can I still see everything together?

Yes. Spaces keep the day-to-day view separate, but you can always step back to combined totals and your full net worth across all of them.
